It's time for another REI Happy Hour!

Time: About 5:30 until you decide to leave (that's after work for those of you who have been retired more than a few months). Some stay 30 minutes and others stay until ??:??.

Hotel & Location: OMNI PARK WEST HOTEL on the Southwest corner of I-635 (LJB Freeway) and Luna Road. That computes to about 1 mile West of where I-35 crosses I-635. The hotel address is 1590 LBJ Freeway, Dallas 75234 if you want to map it.

Parking: The hotel has free covered parking in their garage on the West side of the hotel connected by a protected walkway. Valet parking is available at the front door.

Inside location: The main lobby has a small bar - Turn right near the bar and go down the hallway East. It leads to the Dover Grill on straight ahead, and once there turn right and that half of the room is a very large bar area. Cash/Credit Card Bar for anything you want.

If you can attend please put this on your calendar now and make the commitment to see many old friends from REI days.

We had an REI Happy Hour in Spring starting in 2007 and every year since. Lately, we have also met in December as well. About 50 people showed up to each, and a great time was had by all!

We had our first REI reunion in 2004 and then a repeat in 2006. The 2004 reunion had almost 250 people attend, and the 2006 reunion had almost 200 attend. While the majority of folks are from the local area, we were pleased to see so many friends from all across the country attend each time.
